Museum of Western Art
Home of the Cowboy Artists of America
The museum comprises the nation's most distinguished living artists who follow in the traditions of Remington and Russell in celebrating the memories of the Old West. The rotating collection is sure to delight and surprise. A major western art library is maintained and teaching facilities attract top artists.

Hill Country Museum
Located in the restored Victorian Mansion of pioneer Capt. Charles Schreiner and beautifully furnished with antiques, the mus eum portrays the affluent life in the Hill Country's early days. Hours vary seasonally, call for times and admission prices. 226 Earl Garrett 830-8 96-8633
Kerr Arts & Cultural Center
Located in the heart of downtown Kerrville, KACC represents more than 600 member artists. Mediums include photography, painting, quilting, ceramics, woodwork, basketry, jewelry and more. While touring the center, you can see the work of members or browse the gift shop and library. Workshops, classes and lectures in various arts are available. Tour groups welcome. Downtown Kerrville
A recent revitalization project has restored downtown Kerrville to its original old-world charm. The design implements a plan which encourages leisurely strolls past shops of antiques as well as contemporary galleries.
