Hunting

Riverside Nature Center
Blending cultural history with the area's natural history, the Nature Center includes walking paths, a wildflower meadow, butterfly gardens, native grasses, trees and shrubs as well as special demonstration gardens and special programs. Rodeos and Country Western Dancing
Rodeos and country western dancing are naturally Texas traditions. Watch cowboys ride, rope and compete for prizes at hill country rodeos, generally summer weekend events. Two-step to great country music on most evenings in Kerrville, with country western dance lessons available at some establishments.

Experience Texas
Y.O. Ranch a native and exotic game ranch spanning 50 square miles. Zebras, giraffes and antelope are among the 56 species of exotic game to be spotted on a guided tour of this historic ranch. Established in 1880 by Captain Charles Schreiner, the family owned and operated ranch is well known for its registered quarter horses and longhorn cattle. Tours at 10am daily.
